Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) Information, Advice and Support – Response Questionnaire

A big thank you to all who responded to our SEND information, advice and support (IAS) consultation. We had a really good number of responses which are proving to be helpful as we develop the new service, working closely with Kids Hubs, SENDIASS and Herts Parents Carer Involvement (HPCI).

Kids Hubs and SENDIASS will continue to offer their services across the county in the existing form until 31 March 2020. We hope to update you again in October 2020 with more about a new look information, advice and support service from April 2021.

Our vision is for quality, accessible information, advice and support to be available to children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families. This should be available when they need it so they can live happy and fulfilling lives.

Feedback from the last Ofsted SEND inspection, and from parents and carers, told us that it can be hard for families to find the information and advice they need.
