We must publish our objectives showing how we meet the Public Sector Equality Duty every four years.

A draft strategy has been developed through an analysis of local need, and listening to the views of key internal stakeholders and partners.

This strategy sets out our objectives based on the five main themes of the Equality Framework for Local Government, namely:

1.     Knowing our communities

2.     Leadership, partnership and organisational commitment

3.     Community engagement and satisfaction

4.     Responsive services and customer care

5.     A High Performing, Engaged and Committed Workforce

We want as many people as possible to get involved to make sure we understand the full range of views.
