It is proposed that a new two storey classroom block providing six classrooms will be built to the south-west of the existing school building. Additional staff car parking will be provided within the site.  A new parental drop-off facility for 15 vehicles within the existing school site is also proposed.

Highway studies have concluded that any additional traffic generated can be accommodated within the existing highway network

The favoured layout of the development proposal is shown in the attachments at the bottom of the page.

Why we're consulting

A planning application is likely to be submitted to the County Planning Authority, Hertfordshire County Council sometime in the next few weeks. However, before doing that, we thought it would be helpful to give you advance notice of the application as well as an opportunity to make any comments. Once the planning application has been made to the County Planning Authority they will carry out a public consultation on the proposals. Therefore, there will be another opportunity to comment on the proposals at that time.
