Share your memories of Hertfordshire

A network of community archive websites have been set up for people to add their memories, research and pictures of Hertfordshire.

Herts Memories is a place for you to share your memories and local history research.  There are 6 smaller sites that cover newer towns throughout Hertfordshire:

There are also two websites which have been produced as part of partnership projects between Hertfordshire Archives and other organisations. These are Herts Past Policing and St Albans Out of Sight Out of Mind.

Each website has a team of volunteer editors who help to develop the website and add new articles.  If you are interested, apply to become a volunteer today.

Anyone can add an article, upload a picture or add a comment.  All you need to do is log on to the website and follow the on-screen instructions to add your words and pictures.

Staff from Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies can visit local community groups to talk about Herts Memories and give demonstrations of how to use the websites.
