Christmas Carols in Hertfordshire
There’s nothing that says Christmas quite like enjoying a mince pie while belting out carols alongside a choir of festive revellers. We have put together a lowdown of some of the Christmas carol concerts taking place between now and the 25th for you and your family to enjoy.
St Albans Christmas Market – Carols on the Hour
A series of special 30-minute services with uplifting carols from the Cathedral Choirs will take place on the hour between 11.00am and 4.00pm.

Stevenage Christmas Extravaganza
Meet Santa, enter competitions and sing your heart out at this festival of festivity in Stevenage’s indoor market.
When: Saturday 16 and Saturday 23 December
Times: Between 10.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 16 and between 11.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 23.

Hitchin’s Alternative Christmas Carols
A night of contemporary carols and live music from local artists, there’s a small entry fee but tickets include a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie on entry.
When: Sunday 17 December
Time: 7.00pm to 9.30pm
Where: Hitchin Town Hall
Price: £2 each
Christmas Carols in Hatfield Town Centre
Free hymn sheets, mince pies and hot drinks await any willing carollers who wish to join in the festive spirit.
When: Wednesday 20 December
Time: 12.00pm to 1.00pm
Where: White Lion Square, Hatfield Town Centre
Lea Singers Christmas Carol Concert
A festive evening of uplifting singing, popular carols, mulled wine and mince pies, and a charity Christmas raffle in time for Christmas in support of the Developing World Group, which focuses on projects in Africa
