Happy Birthday to the Queen who celebrates her 92nd birthday on Saturday 21 April.
Did you know that next week it will be 59 years since Her Majesty visited Stevenage to officially open the New Town and visit some of its residents in their new homes?

During her time in the town she also visited many local businesses and organisations, including a butchers shop, the Pied Piper pub, and English Electric. She also unveiled a plaque on the Clock Tower which still stands in the town centre.
The visit is one of many that the Queen has made to our county during her reign. She opened the new maternity ward at Lister Hospital during her Jubilee tour in June 2012 and has also made a number of visits to the Welwyn Garden City that bears her name.
Other visits include Letchworth Leisure Centre in 1982, St Albans Abbey in 2003, and Berkhamsted School in 2016.
