*Research shows that nearly 80% of Hertfordshire’s residents trust the county council yet half of those in the county don’t feel they know about the services we deliver.
To bust some myths such as ‘the county council are responsible for bin collection’ and ‘housing and parks are part of the county council’s remit’ and to ensure our residents understand the range of services the county council actually delivers, we’ve called on children from Abbots Langley Primary School to help launch our new #WorkingForYou campaign.
Everyday throughout July, the county council will be showcasing someone who ‘works for you’ in an A-Z of council services. From Care Practitioners (C) to Registration Services (R), employees across the county council will be highlighting how we deliver a range of services while taking great care of your taxes. And last week, year 1 pupils from Abbots Langley Primary school got involved to help us bring the campaign to life.
*Research comes from the Hertfordshire Residents’ Views of Local Councils survey, November 2016
