We are starting a project which will use cutting edge technology to improve the health and wellbeing of some of our most vulnerable residents, better support people with complex needs and ease pressures on social care.
We’re looking to provide tailored digital solutions to help people stay safe and independent in their own homes, as well as offering greater peace of mind for carers, friends and family members.
Amongst the options we’re considering will be wearable technology, such as - wrist watch activity trackers and software enabled clothing that will provide detailed, personalised and most importantly up to the minute information about those who are receiving care. Key information that’s collected will be used by our care teams to improve support and will also be available to family members and carers.
We hope that by working in partnership with technology providers and our health colleagues, our new digital approach will work for residents who need a little extra support in their day to day lives. Keep your eye on our social media feeds for updates.
