Last week, we celebrated Good Care Week and recognised the fantastic work carried out by our care workers every day.
Throughout the week, we celebrated their achievements and hard work at fun events that recognised their dedication and encouraged others to consider a career in care.
Staff and service users at Home Instead Residential Care in Hemel Hempstead celebrated Good Care Week with a Tea Party Recruitment Day.
At Rosslyn Court in Watford, service users and their families celebrated Good Care Week with a Rock and Roll themed barbecue and dancing.
Through sharing their stories, photos and videos about why they work in care, our workforce have generated over 3,400 visits to our campaign website and 80 people have registered their interest to work in the profession which is quite the achievement in just a week!
Good Care Week may have come to an end for 2017, but with an ageing population the need for more people to work in the care industry in Hertfordshire continues. If you want to find out more about how a career in care could work for you, visit www.hertsgoodcare.com
