If you’ve made it through all of your Easter chocolate or have just finished a spring clean, you might be wondering where you can recycle your waste.
Much of what we recycle at Easter can be picked up in your regular kerbside collection, from Easter egg boxes to grass cuttings.
If you do need to bring items to a household waste recycling centre, then follow our top tips for a quick trip:
1. Sort your items before you come. Don’t wait until you get to the tip to sort your recycling – save time by sorting before you leave
2. Avoid opening and closing times. These tend to be busier.
3. Check for queues using our webcams. You can beat the queue by checking our webcams online before you leave. (This service isn’t currently available at the Cole Green and Bishops Stortford household waste recycling centres).
Don’t forget to check our new summer opening times, which launched on Sunday 1 April.
