It’s that time of year again when the night skies become ablaze with some spectacular firework displays. Don’t miss your chance to have fun with all the family in the run-up to Bonfire Night with our guide to just some of the firework displays around Hertfordshire this weekend.
Friday 3 November
Disney Themed Fireworks Extravaganza, Welwyn Garden City

Price: Tickets can be bought for a reduced price online of £6 for adults, £4 for five to 16-year-olds, and £16 for a family. Under 5s go free
Hormead Primary School Fireworks, Hormead

Time: Gates will be open at 6pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and fireworks beginning at 7pm.
Price: Tickets can be bought for a reduced cost in advance from the school, or on the gate starting at £5 for under 16s, £7 for adults, and £18 for a family.
Abbots Langley Fireworks
The Lions Club of Watford organise this annual free event, supported by Warner Bros, Studios Leavesden and Abbots Langley Parish Council. Enjoy a professional fireworks display with music, hot food and children’s entertainment.

Time: The social bar will be open from 6pm, with fireworks and the bonfire expected to start at 7.30pm.
Saturday 4 November
Crabtree Fireworks Spectacular at Crabtree School
Crabtree Fireworks Spectacular takes place at Crabtree school fields in Harpenden. All proceeds go towards the school, which will fund much needed extra facilities and activities for all the children at Crabtree Schools. Time: Gates open at 5.30pm, the firework display starts at 6:30pm and the bonfire is lit at 7pm.
Price: Advance tickets are £20 for families, £6 for adults and £6 for a child. (Preschool kids go free).
Pirton Annual Bonfire Night and Firework Display

Price: Ticket prices are £6 for adults and £2 for under 16s (preschool kids go free).
Hatfield Fireworks Display
This Fireworks night includes a special 20 minute display to music along with funfair rides and stalls with hot or cold drinks and food.
Although there is no parking on site, there will be a free shuttle bus transporting people to the site from The Forum, at College Lane Campus.

Ickleford School Fireworks

Price: Tickets in advance are £17 for a family ticket (two adults and up to three children) or £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. Tickets on the door (subject to availability) are £20 for a family ticket, £6 for adults and £4 for children. Under 2s go free but must be issued a ticket.
St. Albans Cathedral Fireworks
This 25-year-old popular event features a firework display, food, bars and entertainment for all of the family with proceeds going to Earthworks St Albans and Waverly Driving Group RDA. For further information visit http://ow.ly/TnNP30ggWy0

Price: Advance tickets begin at £3 for under 16's, £7 for adults and £14 for a family. They can be booked online through St Albans Cathedral, or for an extra cost at the gates.
Waltham Abbey: Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November from 2pm
Bishops Stortford Rugby Club Fireworks

Time: 5pm onwards. The display is set to start at 7pm.
Price: Advance tickets cost £5 for an adult or unaccompanied child, and £3 for an accompanied or extra child. Family tickets can be bought for £15.
Ware Fireworks Display
Now in its 46th year, this very popular event attracts up to 5,000 people. Sideshows and food stalls will be available. For further information visit http://www.warefireworks.org.uk/
Where: At the corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway, Ware
Time: The gates will open at 5.30pm, with sideshows and food stalls to tide the public over until the bonfire is lit at around 6.30pm. The firework display is expected to start at 7pm.
Price: Tickets are £6 for adults, £3 for children under 11, and £15 for a family of four. There is a 10% discount for tickets bought in advance online.
Tring’s Festival of Fire
Tring's Festival of Fire is celebrating fireworks this year, which raises money to support sport in the local community. This annual firework and bonfire display first began in 1964 and now has a line-up of three different acts performing and a variety of food and drink.
