Published: 22 Nov 2017

Users of the Ware Road Day Service in Hertford have been clowning around and having a magical time as they celebrate the Centre’s 10th anniversary today.

A fun-filled event was held with circus workshops, photo booth, candy floss and popcorn, a birthday buffet and a special visit from a magician.

Colette Wyatt-Lowe, Cabinet member for Health and Adult Care said: “Ware Road Day Centre provides such a valuable service to the local community and has made a real difference over the last 10 years. Everyone involved with the Centre has worked really hard to mark this special birthday with circus themed fancy dress, activities and handmade decorations.”

Ware Road Day Centre is a purpose built facility for adults with disabilities and older people. The Centre provides a caring and friendly environment with a range of daily activities that promote health and well-being. It also holds special events throughout the year and also runs sensory sessions, quizzes, workshops and day trips.
