Create Christmas crafts for your loved ones at the library thanks to John Lewis

Published: 23 Nov 2017

Get into the Christmas spirit and show your loved ones you care by stitching them a handmade Christmas card, or better yet, just come along to learn a new skill.

Hertfordshire Libraries are hosting a ‘Christmas Cross Stitch’ event at Watford Central Library in partnership with John Lewis on Monday 4 December from 10am – 12pm.

Beginners are welcome at the craft event, where residents will have the chance to put their stitching skills to the test.

Cabinet Member for Education, Libraries and Localism, Terry Douris, said: “There are plenty of Christmas activities at Hertfordshire Libraries this festive season, and this is just one of the many great events we will be hosting.

“The ‘Christmas Cross Stitch’ event is also a prime example of the strong relationship Hertfordshire Libraries has with businesses operating in Hertfordshire.”

If you are interested in attending, we encourage you to book your spot soon as places are limited.

Tickets are £10 per person and can be booked at the following link http://bit.ly/2yPoghn or by calling call 0300 1234049.
