Hertfordshire's young people's survey

Published: 30 Oct 2019

Hertfordshire County Council’s targeted youth service, YC Hertfordshire, has developed a survey to find out what young people think about some of the services available to them in the county and what issues affect them.

The survey, targeted at young people aged between 11-17 and up to the age of 25 for those with special educational needs, is taking place in November. Its aim is to capture the voices of young people across the county to help ensure that YC Hertfordshire continue to deliver valuable, inclusive and relevant services and activities for its young people.

The survey will be available at secondary and middle schools and colleges across the county. It will also be available directly from yc@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

Jenny Coles, Hertfordshire County Council’s Director of Children’s Services, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of a countywide young people’s survey on the 1 November 2019. It is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get involved and have their say on issues of importance to them. It also provides a great platform for us to capture and understand the voices of young people across the county.”
