Hertfordshire Libraries expands eBooks with new app

Published: 07 Mar 2018

Whether you want to read the latest bestseller on your commute to work, or curl up with your favourite book in front of the fire…our eLibrary is bigger and better than ever!

Hertfordshire Libraries’ new eLending service BorrowBox recently launched and brings library members a collection of over 8,000 eBooks and 3,000 eAudiobooks.

Access books around the clock and take your pick from our huge selection of bestselling titles, from authors like Lee Child, Kate Atkinson, Bill Bryson and Ruth Rendell, among others.

With the latest audiobooks and choices for children and teens too, there really is something for everyone.

We will continue to add regularly to our eBook and eAudio collections to provide library users with a wide range of books to choose from.

Cabinet Member for Libraries, Terry Douris, said:

“We’re pleased to now offer library users eBooks and eAudiobooks in the same place following the successful launch of our BorrowBox eAudio Library in 2017.

“Our new and improved eLibrary is one of the many great services available from Hertfordshire Libraries, especially for those who don’t have time to drive to their local library.”

Our new libraries app BorrowBox is really easy to use and is available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play; and there are no overdue charges.
