Road users advised of delays on the Dinant Link Road, Hoddesdon

Published: 02 Mar 2018

Breheny Civil Engineering, on behalf of Lands Improvement Holdings, will be carrying out works on Dinant Link Road in Hoddesdon for a new development - High Leigh Garden Village, starting on 5 March. The works are expected to be completed by September 2018.

The road will be closed eastbound from 10pm – 5am on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 March, and westbound from 10pm – 5am on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 March. This will be followed by the closure of one lane on both eastbound and westbound carriageways for the duration of the works.

Hertfordshire County Council is advising road users that there may be delays as a result and to allow extra time for journeys.

Ralph Sangster, Cabinet Member for Highways said: “While there is never a good time to do work that will affect the roads, we are required to assist Lands Improvement Holdings as they undertake the necessary works required for the High Leigh Garden Village development.

“While the county council is not carrying out these works, we will be monitoring them to ensure that they are completed to an acceptable standard and that they cause as little disruption as possible.”
