Indexing historical documents volunteer
You will be helping to update our database of records.
What will I be doing?
- Indexing 18th and 19th century documents in to the archives Excel database.
What skills or experience do I need?
- Basic computer and word processing skills
- An interest in family or local history
- Attention to detail.
How much time do I need to give?
Upon signing up you will agree timetable of hours
We are open:
- Tuesday 9am to 7.30pm
- Wednesday 9am to 5pm
- Thursday 9am to 5pm
- Friday 9am to 5pm
- Saturday 9am to 1pm
Where will I be located?
At Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies.
What support will I be given?
- You will receive training on how to use the Excel software.
