Listing historical documents volunteer

You will be producing descriptions and adding records to the online archives.

 

What will I be doing?

  • Creating descriptions of new records for the archives
  • Describing detail of documents such as; date, place and type of document.

What skills or experience do I need?

  • Basic computer and word processing skills
  • An interest in family or local history
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of literacy

How much time do I need to give?

Upon signing up you will agree timetable of hours.

We are open:

  • Tuesday  9am to 7.30pm
  • Wednesday  9am to 5pm
  • Thursday  9am to 5pm
  • Friday  9am to 5pm
  • Saturday  9am to 1pm
