Bridges2Beats is a unique music project run by YC Hertfordshire which looks at the impact of how music can break down barriers between different cultures. As part of the project you'll work towards a live performance and gain a Bronze Arts Award. If you can commit to one evening a week for 14 weeks, this project could be for you!
Bridges2Beats at the Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre
YC Hertfordshire Bridges2Beats is a project that brings together different cultures and provides support and opportunities to young people in Hertfordshire.
Join the project and you'll learn the various aspects of creating music and work towards a live performance. You will also have the opportunity to visit an arts event at a major London venue and work with professional music teachers and musicians to develop your skills and knowledge of the arts world.
You'll gain valuable skills work towards a Bronze Arts Award which is a nationally-recognised qualification supported by the Arts Council England.
The Bridges2Beats course lasts for 14 weeks and you are required to commit to one evening a week for all 14 weeks.
Bridges2Beats runs at the Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre on Monday evenings, 6.30-8.30pm.
The XC Centre for Young People is fully wheelchair accessible.

Age Range: 16-19, up to 24 for young people with learning disabilities
