What is Young Achievers? Young Achievers is a monthly programme of activities which is carefully designed to give children
the ability to interact, develop social skills and of course have fun together!
Who is it for? It is for primary aged children with Down Syndrome. Some activities may be open to siblings of primary age.
For some activities there may be a second session which is suitable for secondary aged children.
Parents will need to stay with their child throughout the sessions.
Support will be available from the activity provider and volunteers.
What activities will it include?
It will include a range of physical and creative activities such as gymnastics, art, multi-sports & football, outdoor adventures, cooking and drama.
Our first event is an art and craft session run by Creation Station.
