This YC Hertfordshire Independent Living Skills project is for young people in care or care leavers in Dacorum aged 13-21.
Friendly and supportive YC Hertfordshire youth workers will help you gain valuable life skills through fun, interactive and engaging activities.
YC Hertfordshire’s Independent Living Skills programme is an accredited programme consisting of seven modules:
- cooking skills
- managing money
- healthy living
- emotional wellbeing
- keeping safe
- DIY skills
When you've completed a subject area you will receive a City & Guilds qualification, which will enhance your CV.
All YC Hertfordshire youth work projects and programmes enable young people to learn new skills, increase their knowledge and develop confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
The Bennetts End Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
