Hertfordshire's SEND Local Offer

Early Years, Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) review

Hertfordshire County Council is undertaking this survey so we can evaluate the support we currently offer to the families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

We're seeking the views of parents, colleagues providing early years education (childminders, day and maintained nurseries) and colleagues working within support services (therapists, Paediatricians, Integrated Services for Learning staff, for example).

The results of this survey will inform future development of early years SEND services. That means we'll be able to offer better support to children, their families and pre-school workers.

Currently in the early years SEND services, we have:

  • advisory teachers
  • early years specialists
  • specialist inclusion workers
  • inclusion development officers
  • specialist early years SEND groups.

If you've had any involvement with these professional services, we'd like your views. Ideally you'll have been working with, or have accessed, early years SEND services within the last 2–3 years.

The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and is open until 11pm on Sunday 30 July 2017.
