Educational Psychologists (EPs) provide psychological advice to children and young people within the 0-19 age range, or up to the age of 25 if the young person has an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Every school has a contact educational psychologist with whom any requests for involvement can be raised. If the request is agreed, a Service Request Form and EPS additional information form must be completed - both require a parent/carer signature.

Schools, settings or parents/carers can speak directly to an EP through Contactline. The number is: 01992 588574 and can be accessed at the times below:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2pm - 4.30pm during term time
- Wednesdays 2pm - 4.30pm during school holidays
EPs also work closely with schools and other settings to support them with critical incidents such as the serious injury or death of a child or member of staff.
