Jubilee House Care Trust Individual / Buddying Activity Service

The sessions provide targeted 1-1 support to young people aimed at enhancing social opportunity and development.   For children and young people aged 5-18 years.
The delivery of the service will be individualised with opportunities provided linking directly back to their own goals, wishes and aspirations.  Support provided encourages personal growth and development with an emphasis on health, social and emotional well-being.
Skilled staff with a range of experience from our short break provision will facilitate well placed support, providing safe, planned sessions. The matching of young people to staff will be a considered process and look to ensure that a suitably competent team member is identified.  This could be as basic as matching a staff member with a young person based on a like interest or a willingness to enable or learn a new skill.
Delivery will work towards meeting agreed outcomes:

Examples:

  • Accessing local groups: youth club, cubs, brownies, sports
  • Transition planning – preparation for adult hood- life skills
  • Travel training
  • Behaviour support – enabling improvements in self-management and impact of own behaviour on self and others
  • Relationship development – reducing  isolation, extending relationships
