•Sharing information & exchanging ideas.
•Raising awareness of the needs of children & families.
This is the parent support group of CHIPS . We are a small, friendly, informal group, run by parents for parents. Our group is varied - our children/young people suffer from a wide range of conditions including (but not limited to !) ASD, epilepsy, chromosomal abnormalities, ADHD and have mild to severe learning difficulties. If you are a parent/ carer of children with Additional or Special Needs you would be very welcome to join us, even if you live outside the CHIPS catchment area . Children are also welcome, too. There is no pressure to attend regularly or even stay for the whole session - we know that your free time can be limited and unpredictable! We have speakers at most meetings- these can be informative, or just for fun.
For further information contact Angela/Jo through the CHIPS Office number 01992 534664
email: firstname.lastname@example.org. CHIPS stands for Children’s Integrated Playschemes
Sessions also include time for parents to chat and to opt out of speakers, if wished.
