Day School: The Realms of Gold: the life, poetry and letters of John Keats

This one-day course covers the life of John Keats, who was the youngest of the Romantic poets and the first to die.

His life, friendships, love and bravery in the face of a fatal illness are all part of his amazing story.

His entire poetic career was contained within half a dozen years in which he matured as a man and a writer with astonishing
alacrity. We will trace his development , from his first tentative verses, to his great Odes by exploring his poems and incredible letters in the context of
his short but productive life.

There will be a one hour lunch break when refreshments will be served - but please bring a packed lunch.
