Girls Allowed Young Women's Project - Hemel Hempstead

The YC Hertfordshire Girls Allowed project at the XC Young People's Centre is a safe place for girls to meet up and have fun. It's open to all young women aged 13-17 in the Dacorum and Hemel Hempstead area, every Tuesday, 7-9pm. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

At this YC Hertfordshire project for young women you'll have the opportunity to get involved in many different activities using the fantastic facilities at Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre.

Girls Allowed is a safe place for you to come and get involved in creative activities, develop life skills and discuss current issues affecting young women today. We look at body image, healthy relationships, stereotyping, and positive role models. We offer sexual health advice and the opportunity to grow into confident resilient young women.
Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
