Hertfordshire County Council

Suicide Prevention Network

The Suicide Prevention Network involves more than 20 organisations. Our vision is to make Hertfordshire a county where no-one ever gets to a point where they feel suicide is their only option.

In an emergency, if you or someone else is at risk of harm, call 999 or visit your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.

For urgent help or if you need to speak to someone:

  • Call HPFT NHS Single Point of Access (SPA) Freephone number: 0800 6444 101 for mental health support whether you are experiencing a mental health crisis, need mental health support or just want to talk (24 hours a day, 365 days a year).
  • Whatever you're going through call Samaritans for free on 116 123 (24 hours a day, 365 days a year).
