Dr. Jennifer Lynch, National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Knowledge Mobilisation FellowDr Jennifer Lynch 1289x1715

Dr. Jennifer Lynch’s research explores the use of technology in support for older people with complex health conditions. She is currently undertaking a study of how knowledge about assistive technology (AT) is used in commissioning decisions and working with Hertfordshire County Council as they implement their AT strategy.

Jennifer’s PhD investigated the policy discourse and multi-agency working in the provision of telecare and telehealth services in the UK. She has an enduring interest in the ethical debate surrounding the role of technology in enhancing (or not) the autonomy and independence of older people living in the community.
