The Workplace Health Champion is a voluntary role, taken on by members of staff who want to encourage healthy living and better wellbeing in their workplace.

Hertfordshire Tobacco Control Alliance

Hertfordshire Tobacco Control alliance is made up of all key stakeholders involved in the tobacco control agenda. Workplace champions are encouraged to be on the mailing list and if possible attend 1 meeting per year. The alliance sends out regular updates and meets 3 times a year throughout the county.

  • NHS Wellbeing - psychological help and practical support for people with mental health problems like anxiety, low mood, insomnia, stress or pregnancy related issues.
  • The Samaritans - available 24/7. If you need to talk to someone right now, call them for free on 116 123. You don't have to be suicidal to speak to them.
  • Five Ways to Wellbeing - these can make you happier, more positive and able to get the most from life.
