Hertfordshire County Council

Storm Eleanor blew through parts of Hertfordshire from Tuesday evening.

She kept our Ringway teams busy as they responded to 115 faults which were reported by our customers and the police. These reports included fallen trees and branches, debris, and damage to street furniture as well as localised flooding.

The team's local knowledge helped with responding to the influx of emergency reports as quickly as possible. After experiencing the impact of severe weather in the county in recent years, out teams have a strong understanding of what is needed and have helped to keep Hertfordshire's motorists safe and moving when a storm hits.

This has ensured a supportive and effective service delivery for our customers.
