Chatterbooks – reading groups for 8-12 year olds

Whether your child is already an avid reader or needing some inspiration, joining Chatterbooks is a great way to encourage them to have fun with books.

Joining Chatterbooks in 2017-18

The online application process for Chatterbooks groups starting in October 2017 is now open.

Chatterbooks groups meet once a month in the library for an hour to discuss the books they're reading.

It's free to join and members receive an exclusive Chatterbooks pack and other book-related goodies.

Chatterbooks membership lasts for 1 school year. Places are limited and priority will be given to children who have not previously attended a Chatterbooks group.

Where and when do Chatterbooks groups meet?

The below days and times are for you to consider before applying for Chatterbooks. You will be sent an email with the specific dates if you are  successful after applying.
