Do you know a child who loves chatting about books?
Hertfordshire Libraries run monthly Chatterbooks reading groups for children aged 8 to 12. For children who already lovereading and those who are looking to be inspired, these free monthly groups offer a fun opportunity to explore books and try new things. Programmes include:
- Chatting about the books you are reading
- Helping choose books for the library
- Games and activities
- Themed sessions
Chatterbooks members also receive a special backpack, complete with wristband, pen and reading diary.
Due to the popularity of Chatterbooks, membership is limited to one academic year and places fill up quickly, so sign up now to reserve your place.
New Chatterbooks groups will run from October to July in the following libraries:
Abbots Langley, Baldock, Berkhamsted, Bishops Stortford, Borehamwood, Buntingford, Bushey, Cheshunt, Croxley Green, Harpenden, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Hertford, Hitchin, Hoddesdon, Letchworth, Marshalswick, North Watford, Oakmere, Oxhey, Radlett, Rickmansworth, Royston, St Albans, Stevenage, Tring, Waltham Cross, Ware, Watford and Welwyn Garden City.
