...and try our coding challenge!
Our Code Club, CoderDojo, CreatorSpace and CreatorSpace out of the Box events may be on hold, however this shouldn't stop you and your family from coding.
Coding is free, easy and a great activity for all ages to have fun and build digital skills whilst staying safe at home. Our social media pages have been recommending our favourite coding projects - projects that create games, animations, websites, programs and apps. These projects on the Code Club, CoderDojo and Hour of Code websites provide step by step instructions for coding of all abilities from Scratch to HTML, CSS and more.
It is not just recommendations we can give you, this week we are launching a new exciting coding challenge - code our Artie 3000 robot from home!
Find out how you can code Artie 3000 by watching our YouTube video.
Humans are not the only ones at home - robots are too!
Artie 3000 loves drawing pictures at library events, where library coders would draw simple line images an calculate drawing instructions so that Artie could draw the image too. We want you to do the same from home. We will be asking for your code and we will film Artie drawing your pictures. This is a great activity for all ages, to do as a family or by yourself. To join our challenge, keep an eye on our Facebook page for imminent instructions.
We hope you enjoy trying out coding and keep watching our social media for new coding activities.
