Volunteers are continuing to provide excellent customer service at our current community libraries in Redbourn, Chorleywood, Kings Langley, Goffs Oak and Wheathampstead. During October we also trained over 20 new volunteers at Knebworth Library, who since November have been working with library staff to progress their frontline training and experience - and they are making excellent progress!
We would currently like to recruit more volunteers at London Colney Community Library, so please email email@example.com for further information or if you would like to help with local promotions or join the fledgling committee for this project. Further induction sessions will be provided in the new year - dates to be confirmed soon.
Our next volunteer coffee morning at London Colney Library will be held on Tuesday 9 January, 11.00 to 12.00. Please come along if you would like to meet local staff and volunteers or if you are interested in joining our team.
We will also be training new community library volunteers at Sawbridgeworth Library in the new year. We are looking for both frontline volunteers and potential committee members to work in partnership with the library service at this library.
We will be providing two separate induction sessions for new volunteers in Sawbridgeworth on the following dates:
Session 1 – Tuesdays 20 or 27 February from 15.00 to 17.00
Session 2 – Tuesdays 6 or 13 March from 15.00 to 17.00
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information about this opportunity or if you would like to attend these induction sessions.
