Did you know you can apply now for a free early education place for your 3 or 4 year old to start?
If you need to apply for a free early education place for your child you will need to apply directly to the early years provider of your choice; this could be a pre-school, day nursery, childminder or school nursery.
Many school nurseries, pre-schools and day nurseries are having open days for you to look round.
96% of all Hertfordshire early years providers are graded good or outstanding by Ofsted. Evidence shows that regular, high quality early education has lasting benefits for all children.
Regardless of where your child accesses their free early education entitlement they will experience a varied and stimulating range of play and early learning activities, including:
• learning by playing and exploring
• creative and critical thinking
• socialising and making friends
• having fun, in a safe and nurturing environment
• being school ready.
