It's never too late to be Active! - Free Activity pass and prizes
Did you know that residents can claim a FREE local activity pass as part of a new campaign to help older adults get more active called ‘It’s Never Too Late to be Active’?
To claim your pass, simply:
You could also win an iPad or Fitbit!
Physical activity keeps our body strong, mind sharp and gives us more energy to keep doing the things we love.
Many of us are not reaching the 150 minutes a week we need to stay healthy but it’s easier than you think to fit in - a brisk walk here, a spot of gardening there, a class or activity you enjoy, taking the stairs rather than the lift – 10 minutes here and there soon adds up.
We know it can be daunting to start something new, so our friendly HertsHelp advisers are on hand to help you find the right activity for you. Find out what's available for you.
And don’t forget, our libraries also have a range of books about health and wellbeing to give you that extra inspiration!
