New Year, new volunteering opportunities!

Would you like to support your local library by becoming a Community Library Volunteer?neil 1

If so, we currently have volunteering vacancies at Knebworth and London Colney Libraries.

Please follow this link  for further information about the role and how to apply

We are also looking to recruit more steering group committee members at London Colney

We will also be starting to train new volunteers at Sawbridgeworth in the New Year. For further information about opportunities at this library, please email  or come along to one of our drop-in sessions at the library on either:

Wednesday 31 January, from 2pm to 6pm

Tuesday 6 February, from 3pm to 6pm

neil 2We will also be offering a variety of volunteer induction sessions at all three of these libraries during January, February and March.

We ask that all volunteers attend a “Session 1” and a “Session 2” date.

Knebworth Community Library:

Session 1 – Monday 22 January or Friday 26 January

Session 2 – Monday 5 February or Friday 9 February

All of the sessions in this library will be from 10am to 12pm

London Colney Community Library:

Session 1 – Wednesdays 7 or 14 February

Session 2 – Wednesdays 21 or 28 February

All of the sessions in this library will be from 2pm to 4pmneil 3

Sawbridgeworth Community Library:

Session 1 – Tuesdays 20 or 27 February

Session 2 – Tuesdays 6 or 13 March

All of the sessions in this library will be from 3pm to 5pm
