We have lots of events coming up in November right across the county including
Librarian Theatre: Alice in the Cuckoo's Nest.
Do you want to see live theatre near to home and a reasonable cost? Come along to a Hertfordshire Library.
Alice in the Cuckoo's Nest re-imagines Lewis Carroll's classic story in the setting of a modern day mental institution. Although the show is family friendly, it is a far cry from the innocent adventure portrayed by Walt Disney's 1951 film version: “We're not shying away from the darker sides of the subject matter,” said Cuthbertson, “but nor will there be overly explicit content which would exclude younger audience members. Hopefully audiences of all ages will take something away from it, and it will help fuel important conversations about mental health.”
This show will be on in 3 Hertfordshire Libraries during November:
Monday 27th November- Stevenage Central Library, 7.30pm.
Tuesday 28th November- Hemel Hempstead Library, 7.30pm
Thursday 30th November, St Albans Library, 7.30pm.:

Oral history interviews demonstrate the diversity of different cultures and individuals and the exhibition also includes oral history booths where visitors can include their own stories and memories.
