To mark the culmination of World Alzheimer's month, Herts Careline attended the Open Day at Howard Cottage Housing Association's MacFayden Webb House in Letchworth on Friday.The event was a lively and heartening day, with the residents of the House, their Kingfisher Dementia Group and members of the public enjoying a seated exercise class, reminiscence experiences and an Elvis Tribute act!

Older People's Active Learning - a success in Royston

Hosted by Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, we're pleased to report that the Older People's Active Learning event in Royston was a great success. Very important message were delivered by Herts Careline, Royston Police, Herts Resilience, Trading Standards, North Herts Samaritans, Hertfordshire Independent Living Service, Crossroads Care, North Hertfordshire District Council and Age UK Hertfordshire.The next OPALS event is on Wednesday 10th October 2018 at Baldock Community Centre, 9.30am-1pm - come along and find out about the support available to older and vulnerable people living in Hertfordshire.
