Scam Awareness Roadshow

The Scam Awareness Roadshow is an opportunity to learn more about doorstep, phone and postal criminal cons and cheats – how to avoid them, and how to report a scam and get help.

Advisors from Trading Standards, Neighbourhood Watch, Age UK, or the local Police Community Safety Officer are attending events to provide information.  Some Roadshows will also have talks from Trading Standards.  Topics include scam and junk mail, vitamin scams, and phone scams.

Members of the community can visit their local library for free and trusted information and advice. All Hertfordshire Libraries will have helpful leaflets for local residents to pick up.

More information and details of the Roadshows can be found at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/scamaware  or 0300 123 4049.  Activities are free and no booking is necessary.
