Special Story Walk

Hertfordshire Libraries and the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust are teaming-up for a special Story Walk.

Put on your comfortable shoes, pack a waterproof and sunscreen (just in case), and join us.

Learn about the history of Panshanger with an expert and enjoy views over the park, together with extracts from the letters, journals, and writings of some of the people who lived, visited, or were associated with Panshanger. We’ll take in Repton's landscape, hear about his work at the Park, and also visit the magnificent “Panshanger Oak”.

Parking will be available close by at the Panshanger House site.

Directions will be emailed to those who have registered for tickets a few days before the event.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

Book your place on this special Story Walk.

More information is available at Hertford Library.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome.

Remember to come prepared for the weather, be it rain or shine, and wear shoes you are comfortable walking in. All of our walks are gentle and accessible.
