The project team has been collaborating with a group of volunteers (both adults and children) to co-create a touring exhibition which will focus on the town’s postwar story.
Volunteers have been trained in archive research and exhibition making. As part of the research, several interviews were recorded with local residents. Clips will feature in the exhibition and on the community archive.
A programme of free events began in January 2020, but has been temporarily paused.
Many events due to take place this summer will be postponed. We are also exploring alternative options for the safe delivery of these events, which may include online presentations.
