CMS is working in partnership with Hertsmere Borough Council to draw up a new Greenspace Action Plan (GAP) for Wash Lane Common. The plan aims to maximise the potential of this quiet natural site, close to the busy South Mimms motorway service area, by enhancing its value for recreation and biodiversity.
We have been gathering the views of stakeholders and user groups since the beginning of April. The feedback from this process has now been drawn together in the draft Wash Lane Common GAP. Consultation on the draft GAP will run until Thursday 2nd March, and you can view the plan here:

Following the consultation, the GAP will be amended as required, agreed and actions to deliver the plan will commence. To comment on the draft GAP, contact Andrew Taylor, Countryside Management Service: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01992 556063.
