CMS is working on behalf and in partnership with St Albans City and Dsitrict Council to write a 5 year Greenspace Action Plan (GAP) for Sopwell Nunnery. The plan will run from 2018-23 and has been developed to guide the efficient and effective management of Sopwell Nunnery Green Space, Sopwell Mill Open Space and the Nunnery Allotments. This GAP follows on from the previous plan and outlines the vision, aims and objectives for the site until 2023 and identifies the actions that will be implemented to achieve them.
We have been gathering the views of stakeholders and user groups. The feedback from this process has now been drawn together in Sopwell Nunnery Draft Greenspace Action Plan 2018-23.
We are now asking for feedback on the full draft GAP. To view Sopwell Nunnery Draft GAP 2018-23 and for details on how to comment visit SADC website www.stalbans.gov.uk/consultations.
We would welcome your comments on the future management of Sopwell Nunnery Draft Greenspace Action Plan (GAP) 2018-23 by Friday 23 February 2018.
Following this engagement exercise, the GAP will be amended as required to take into account any feedback received, before it is formally adopted by SADC and actions to deliver the plan will commence.
