Countryside Management Service (CMS) is working on behalf of and in partnership with North Herts District Council to write a five year Greenspace Action Plan (GAP) for Walsworth Common which will run from 2019-24.
We have been gathering the views of stakeholders and user groups. The feedback from this process has now been drawn together in Walsworth Common Draft Greenspace Action Plan 2019-24. The draft GAP is now available for 4 weeks for comment. The objective of the GAP is to make Walsworth Commona welcoming, diverse, beautiful and tranquil open space for the use and enjoyment of all residents and visitors to the common, while protecting and conserving the wildlife interest of the site.
To view the draft GAP and for details on how to comment visit North Herts District Council website.
If you have any comments on the Walsworth Common Draft Greenspace Action Plan (GAP) 2019-24 please respond by Friday 1st February 2019.
Following this engagement exercise, the GAP will be amended as required to take into account any feedback received, before it is formally adopted by NHDC and actions to deliver the plan will commence.
