20 March - 13 April

Join the pick

The Great British Spring Clean has been postponed and litter picking equiptment is no longer being loaned out. Further information can be found at the Great British Spring Clean coronavirus guidance page.

Welcome to the Great British Spring Clean 2020 and thank you for getting involved in the country’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign.

Events will be taking place all over the county. Other councils will add details as they are confirmed. We encourage individuals and local community groups to hold a litter pick.

Here is our plan of action to mobilise faith groups, schools, community groups, Councillors and businesses to participate:

Litter pickers, tabards, rubbish and recycling bags will be made available to any residents, scouts, schools etc. You can request litter picking equipment by emailing cleansafegreen@dacorum.gov.uk.

The annual Spring Clean is one of the most popular times to litter pick so make sure to reserve your equipment soon as we issue this on a first come, first served basis.
