What does good mental health look like?
Having good mental health doesn't mean that you are happy all the time, experiencing negative emotions is normal. We all feel worried, stressed, angry or maybe low sometimes but good mental health is about being able to:
- maintain happy relationships with those around you
- express how you feel - it is okay if this changes daily
- feel positive about yourself and what you can achieve
- cope with difficult situations
Managing your mental health can also help improve your physical health as the two are closely linked.
