We have developed a new SEND Strategy for 2026 - 29.

The strategy takes into account what children and young people and parent carers tell us they need. It also follows on from the Ofsted CQC SEND area inspection, and our SEND improvement plan.

This strategy is not yet finalised. We want your feedback on our proposed SEND Strategy.

We want to find out:

Do the ambitions reflect what matters most to children and young people with SEND and their families?
Are there any parts which are missing, unclear or need strengthening?
What do you think is the single most important priority for us to focus on?

The consultation is due to open from Friday 14 November 2025 until Friday 6 February 2026.
