    1. You register your organisation and add details of each free/chargeable activity you want to include in the campaign. You can continue to add more activities even after registration.
    2. We'll post you a campaign toolkit. It'll include activity vouchers, QR code posters and a pre-paid envelope - more about the toolkit (PDF)
    3. We'll promote the campaign, and you can share our posts via your social networks. Then, watch the bookings roll in!
    4. At the start of your activities, give each new participant an activity voucher - mark their unique voucher number and the date on the card. For returning participants, simply mark the date on their existing card.
    5. Before you begin each session, ensure all campaign participants check-in by scanning the QR code poster.
    6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 throughout the duration of the campaign.
    7. You collect all activity vouchers marked with 12 dates and return them to us via the pre-paid envelope at the end of the campaign.

 

Reach adults in our target audience

  • People from ethnic minority groups
  • Those living with disabilities or long-term health conditions.

Run activities that are suitable for participants

  • Choose activities that are low-intensity or lower-impact to suit the target audience.
  • Schedule sessions that fit around work hours and caring responsibilities.

Offer free or discounted activities to participants

  • Make activities more financially accessible by offering at least 10% off the usual charge.
  • If your activities are already free, just register them without a discount.

Will residents be interested?

Yes! The previous campaign saw over 1,700 activity passes downloaded.

People who live or work in Hertfordshire can sign up to the campaign to get:

  • An activity voucher with access to 12 free/discounted activities from the date of registration
  • Lots of activities to choose from (thanks to you!)
  • Regular motivational emails and texts
  • The chance to win a £50 sports gift card on registration
  • A chance to win another prize once an 'end of campaign' survey is completed. 

 

 

 

 

 

Increase physical activity during the campaign

We aim to help more people become active by making it easier and more appealing to participate in physical activities. This includes providing accessible programs and facilities, especially in areas where opportunities are currently limited.

By working closely with local groups and listening to community needs, we will offer a range of activities that suit all abilities and preferences.

Improve confidence and wellbeing 

We want people to feel confident and motivated to stay active. By creating supportive and inclusive environments, we will help individuals overcome barriers such as fear of judgment, lack of confidence, or health concerns.

Our approach focuses on boosting mental well-being and self-esteem through regular physical activity, fostering a positive and empowering experience.

Create opportunities for community

Building strong community connections is at the heart of our approach. We will bring people together through group activities and community events, creating opportunities for social interaction and support.

By partnering with local organisations and leaders, we will strengthen networks that encourage ongoing participation and a sense of belonging within the community.


How we'll make an impact

We're committed to tackling the greatest health challenges where they're needed most.

We've identified Bedwell, Crowley Hill and Waltham Cross as priority areas. These communities experience high levels of poverty, have diverse populations, and many residents live with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
